About AB-Dive Bonaire
AB-Dive has been part of Bonaire’s dive community for 40 years. Our shore-based operation runs a retail shop, gear rental department, drive-through tank filling station, guided dives and courses.
We are looking for the right person to run the floor and help keep our operation running smoothly.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position. You’ll open the shop, coordinate daily with the team, move customers through courses and staff coordination, and make sure the whole operation runs smoothly from open to close.
No two days look exactly the same, and that’s the point.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Handling course bookings and classroom coordination.
• Advising customers on retail and rental equipment.
• Managing tank fill operations (Air and Nitrox).
• Tracking gear maintenance and inspections.
• Stock ordering and inventory management.
• Supporting daily operational and administrative processes.
• Coordinating staff and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
• Overseeing the day-to-day flow of the dive operation.
Who We’re Looking For
• You’re an active diver with solid equipment knowledge.
• You have a practical understanding of how a dive operation works.
• You’re already based on Bonaire or serious about relocating.
• You hold a valid driver’s license.
• You communicate fluently in English and/or Dutch.
• You perform well in a busy environment.
• You take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do.
• You care about delivering an excellent guest experience.
