As an HR Officer, you’ll work closely with the HR Manager and a fellow HR Officer to support the full employee journey across the Sapias Holding companies. From recruitment and onboarding to employee development and payroll administration, you’ll help ensure that HR processes run smoothly while delivering professional and people-focused support throughout the organization.

What will you do?

  • Support the full employee lifecycle across multiple companies within the holding.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and HR administration.

  • Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, warning letters and other documentation.

  • Coordinate work permit and residence permit applications and renewals.

  • Organize and coordinate internship programs and maintain contact with educational institutions.

  • Provide first-line HR support and advice to managers and employees.

  • Assist with employee wellbeing, engagement and retention initiatives.

  • Coordinate training and development activities.

  • Support performance reviews, probation reviews, appraisal meetings and exit interviews.

  • Review payroll information and prepare monthly payroll mutation reports.

  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies and HR procedures.

  • Prioritize multiple HR tasks while supporting several companies within the holding.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Experience in Human Resources or a strong affinity with HR.

  • Knowledge of BES labour legislation is an advantage.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Dutch, Spanish and/or Papiamentu are an advantage.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Proactive, flexible, service-oriented and a true team player.
